How it Works
After a comprehensive assessment, during which we’ll study the integrity of the surface and learn your stylistic preference, we’ll grind the entire floor in preparation for installation. This process will remove existing imperfections, and we’ll also repair any cracks or broken concrete. The grinded surface will then allow the epoxy to bond to it.
Our technicians will next clean the floor and apply a base coating. Next comes the epoxy, which we’ll cover with Flake, and the following day the surface will be swept to scrape away any surviving shavings and particles.
Finally, two clear coats will be applied. Depending on the surface, it’ll be ready within 72 hours – though in most cases in 24.
How it Looks
This is the fun part, because you get to decide! If it’s a retail space we’re working on, you can choose a colour and texture that will stand out to your customers. You may also want a particular texture for a residential surface, like a garage, patio, or basement, and colour may not necessarily be front of mind if it’s an industrial facility we’re appraising.
Our epoxy is available in a range of colours, from neutral and practical to eye-catching and tasteful. And we offer a selection of textures as well, including metallic, quartz, full flake, and polished concrete.
